We are delighted to now offer Home Education Sessions at Knotts of Tempsford.

Each Friday during term time, there will be a new topic to explore, a worksheet to complete and the chance for hands on learning experiences at the farm.

Worksheets

Each week we will provide a worksheet for your notes and ideas. Our learning sessions are very interactive and this will be a handy place to record interesting facts and thoughts.

Loyalty Card

When you join a Home Ed Session we will give you your very own Loyalty Card. Collect six stamps to receive a certificate. Sessions do not have to be attended consecutively.

Certificate

Once you have attended six sessions show us your Loyalty Card to receive a Certificate of Knotts Knowledge from Farmer Clive!

Can you tell me more about the times, costs etc?

Home Ed sessions take place on a Friday at midday during term time.

They will last around 45 mins - 1 hour.

Group size is approx 15 people.

Sessions cost £8.50 per Child Learner and £5.00 per Supervising Adult.

What age are the Home Ed sessions for?

These sessions are for school aged children (4+) Our sessions will suit a broad range of ages and abilities. If your child has specific questions or information they'd like us to cover we will do our best to share as much info as possible!

Do parents need to stay?

Yes, children will need to be supervised by an adult for the full session.

Can I bring younger siblings?

Not at this time.
For now, our Home Ed sessions are only open to children aged 4+

Younger children are still welcome to enjoy our farm and may like our Pat a Pet sessions as an alternative.

How hands-on are these sessions?

Very! Like all of our animal experiences on the farm, we aim for our learning to be interactive and engaging.

Is this suitable for my child with SEND needs?

We want everyone to feel welcome and included at Knotts.

If you'd like to discuss accessibility please send us an email and we are very happy to talk with you about individual needs.

It's not letting me book the date I need?

Please check our booking calendar for availability, if you cannot add the session to your basket we might be fully booked.

Will you offer more topics?

We will! Our sessions will change in line with the seasons and practices of our working farm.
